Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for repair process management, capability management, technical data management, and technical support.
He/she will provide technical and admin.
support to Operations Production Managers as assigned.
This position is also responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of all technical publications.
He/she will support validation of the currency of all documents (e.
g.
, Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, etc.
) and maintain the supplemental technical content of each CMM (e.
g.
, Approval Lists, TIP sheets, etc.
).
This position also supports the establishment of new capabilities through the generation and publication of capability control forms, initial cost/provisioning model creation, and other data entry duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate must have a high sense of responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail.
He/she must be team-oriented with the ability to work within multiple departments.
He/she must have technical competency related to materials/equipment used in aircraft component maintenance.
More so, he/she must be willing and able to find technical solutions (individually or as a team) while remaining individually accountable for all assigned duties.
Duties:
Repair Management Owns oversight of piece-part repairs Review in-process work orders for accuracy, parts requirements, etc.
Identify repair opportunities and requirements Create repair travelers/routings Equivalency Program Generate and publish equivalency forms Maintain TTE (Tooling & Test Equipment) database Maintain consumables equivalency database Perform/coordinate the required research to identify equivalent consumables Technical Publications Maintain currency of technical publications to include CMMs, AD, SBs, or other customer-specific maintenance documents Build CMMs (bookmarks, TIP sheets, hyperlinks, etc.
) Capability Documentation Assist with Capability Control Forms (Q-29, Q-88) Load new PN records/XREFs in ERP Load BOMs (Bill of Materials) in ERP Update capability codes in ERP
Qualifications:
High school diploma Strong technical competence Exceptional communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments Highly organized and self-motivated Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook proficiency Experience with aircraft component maintenance required Experience with Pentagon ERP System required
