Summary:
The job of Health & Safety and Risk Manager oversees three departments:
Information Technology, Risk Management and Health and Safety.
This position works directly with the Director of Operations and Risk to ensure efficient, effective, and complaint operations in the areas of Information Technology, Technology Training, Health and Safety and Risk Management.
Essential Duties:
Conducts risk assessments to identify and analyze potential risks in the areas of finance, safety, operations, technology, legal, and reputational risks.
Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization's programs and departments.
Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
Creates, manages, and implements risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, and recovery measures.
Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to improve identified areas of risk to executive leadership staff.
Acts as a liaison between ESP and insurance carrier regarding incidents/accidents.
Develops and implements IT policies and procedures.
Acts as a liaison between ESP and IT vendors to coordinate projects and accomplish organizational goals.
Supervises IT Specialist and Health and Safety Specialist through ongoing training and coaching, communicating job expectations and appraising job performance.
Create and manage annual budget for IT needs to include hardware and software, and vendor services.
Maintain knowledge of requirements and industry trends related to IT and Risk Management.
Coordinate regular monitoring of facilities to assure compliance with funder requirements, local, state, and federal regulation.
Participates in annual self-assessments with Department of Early Childhood and Family Services.
Responsible for leading the Risk, Health and Safety and IT Governance Committees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years management experience.
Certifications /License Required:
Valid Driver's License Essential Physical Functions:
Regularly lift (25) pounds.
Occasionally lift (25) pounds.
Carrying, pushing and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; fine finger dexterity to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Regularly required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; Occasionally required to stand, climb, balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Technology, such as:
desk top computer, laptop, copier, and tablet used to communicate via email, complete timesheets, attend training/meetings.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
