Position Overview:
The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for opening/closing the store, ensuring customer satisfaction by providing information, service and products to customers, maintain a clean environment, and merchandise inventory.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the store is open and closed correctly each shift.
Work with Store Managers to ensure that questions from customers are answered and problems are resolved.
Maintain cleanliness of the store including sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
Perform daily inventory of merchandise and supplies.
Provide information to customers about products, prices, availability, and product comparisons.
Provide product information, select and maintain product displays that are strategically placed in the store.
Assists with store cleanliness when necessary; cleans windows, floors, and other areas, organizes merchandise displays, restocks merchandise as needed.
Restock product as needed throughout the week throughout all major categories.
Perform special projects or tasks when required Other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
Skills:
Excellent customer service skills.
Good communication skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of customers in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a team with an approach that is supportive and cooperative.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to handle both positive and negative customer interactions with a positive approach that allows for a positive attitude in any situation.
