The Role Overview:
Community Bank & Trust is looking for a talented and dedicated individual for the position of Branch Manager.
This position is primarily responsible for overseeing branch operations including daily routine branch administration, management, CSR, and teller operations.
This position is responsible for providing coaching and direction to branch personnel in the pursuit of exceptional customer service.
Additionally, this position is responsible for driving efforts to meet branch performance and customer experience goals.
Essential Functions:
Successfully represent the bank in community organizations to develop the bank's footprint and presence in the marketplace.
Supervise and evaluate branch personnel.
Provide direct guidance and assistance in such areas as opening new accounts, Consumer Lending and answering questions regarding bank operations, policy, and procedures.
Oversee branch operations including staffing procedures, ensuring appropriate teller assignments and responsibilities.
Job Duties:
Maintain advanced knowledge of CBT's products and services to effectively identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote new banking services to customers.
Provide assistance in opening new accounts including checking, savings, IRA's and certificates of deposit.
Gather and analyze all information necessary for consumer loan approval and closing.
Assist with strategically growing and developing the bank's footprint.
Maintain a work area which ensures the safety and confidentiality of all customer records and transactions.
Understand and comply with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policies and Procedures.
Ability to confidently embody the values of CBT.
Represent Community Bank and Trust - West Georgia in the community and at community events.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of 2 years bank branch management experience.
Knowledge and experience with consumer lending processes and procedures.
Ability to accurately process and handle cash.
Excellent math and related accounting skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and banking and lending software programs and platforms.
