Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food - Utilize POS system to input orders and manage guest checks - Assist with food preparation as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting - Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience - Knowledge of basic math for accurate order taking and bill calculation - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation management systems is a plus - Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with both guests and colleagues - Basic knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
